3. Taking high amounts of calcium is not safe: You see, calcium can create kidney stones when taken in excess. So make sure you are well aware of how much calcium you are taking. Even better, get calcium from sources like leafy greens.
4. They have less nutrition: Despite all the marketing claims, natural food will always have a superior nutritional profile in comparison to supplements. So don’t assume that supplements have something special that whole food doesn’t.
5. The less you supplement your diet the better: Nobody knows whether or not long term supplementation is safe. And since whole foods have more nutrients than supplements, you will always be better off focusing on high quality nutrition.
6. You don’t need weight loss pills with caffeine: You see, there are natural alternatives like loose leaf teas that are just as powerful here. Even better, they don’t cost as much as come with a huge amount of anti oxidants.
Dietary supplements are usually a waste of money. You are far better off getting your nutrition from whole foods for the best results.
